Local art print company, Spiffing Prints, has been a tenant at The Exchange 1856 since 2015 and is now selling its work all over the world, as well as helping nurture local artists.
The company has doubled in size since locating to The Exchange 1856 eight years ago and moved into larger offices within the building to cope with growing demand. It also needed to accommodate additional cutting-edge kit, which now includes six highly colour accurate printers and several computers, featuring the very latest artwork software.
Now selling on global platforms such as Amazon, eBay and Frugo, Spiffing Prints specialises in framed art prints from an extensive online catalogue. Bespoke images, fine art or family photos – anything people like to put on the wall, Spiffing Prints, can make into framed artwork. The company also works with local artists to help them get their work into print.
The five-strong Spiffing Prints team loves calling The Exchange 1856 home.
Dominic Holland said: “As a cultural business we take inspiration from the beautiful surroundings at The Exchange 1856. It’s an absolutely wonderful building – in fact one of the best in the area – and is in a great location, right in the centre of town.
“Seeing the building’s transformation has been very exciting to be part of. It makes us even more proud to call it our business home.”
