Sunday lunch at Brown’s is all about proper roasts, generous portions and all the trimmings, served in the relaxed surroundings of The Exchange 1856.

Our Sunday menu brings together a choice of meats and seasonal dishes, served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables and rich homemade gravy.

Whether it’s a family Sunday lunch, a catch-up with friends or simply an excuse for a proper roast, settle in and make a Sunday of it.

The Lounge is our relaxed café bar, serving brunch alongside freshly roasted coffee, bakery favourites and

quality matcha.

Our brunch menu brings together sweet and savoury favourites, with breakfast cocktails, spritzes and premium Wor Matcha served with homemade fruit purées and cold foams.

Take a seat inside or head out to the terrace and settle in for brunch, coffee, matcha or a few drinks.

Served Thursday - Sunday, 8am - 2pm

Afternoon Tea is now served at The Lounge at The Exchange 1856. Enjoy a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, fruit and cheese scones with jam and cream, home baked cakes, brownies, and your choice of tea or coffee, all freshly made by Tynemouth Coffee Bakery.

Looking to make it extra special? You can also upgrade to our Bottomless Afternoon Tea with 90 minutes of Prosecco.
